Therapy that offers understanding
and a way forward
Warm, grounded and professional counselling for individuals and couples,
helping you make sense of what is happening, untangle what feels
stuck, and move forward in practical, meaningful ways.
A calm, thoughtful space to
talk and to move forward
People come to counselling for many different reasons. Sometimes it is anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, family stress, or struggles with confidence and self-esteem. Sometimes the problem is
harder to define, and there is simply a sense that something is not working as it should.
I offer a calm and professional space where you can speak openly, understand yourself more clearly,
and work through what is difficult. My approach is warm and thoughtful, but also grounded and
practical. For me, therapy is not only about insight. It is also about what comes next -
how to move forward with greater clarity, confidence and purpose.

What makes my approach different
Depth, clarity and
practical change
Therapy can be a place to slow down, reflect, and understand yourself more deeply. It can help you untangle patterns, make sense of your emotions, and see more clearly how past and present experiences may be affecting you.
But I also keep another question in mind: what now?
Many people reach a point in therapy where they have gained insight, understood more, and begun to make sense of things — but then want to know how to move forward in real life. That matters to me. Alongside reflection and emotional understanding, I focus on helping clients think about direction, change, and practical next steps that feel realistic and meaningful.

professional and
grounded approach
I am an experienced and fully qualified integrative
psychotherapeutic counsellor. My aim is to offer a therapeutic relationship that feels safe, thoughtful and human, while also helping you make meaningful progress.
I believe good therapy should feel both containing and constructive:
a place where you can explore difficult thoughts and feelings honestly, but also begin to find a clearer and more manageable way forward.

Starting counselling
What Happen Next
When you get in touch, we can arrange an initial meeting to talk through what has brought you to counselling, what you would like help with, and whether I feel like the right fit for you.
This first session is a chance to begin making sense of things, ask any questions you may have, and get a feel for how it would be to work together.
If we decide to continue, we would usually meet weekly for 1-hour sessions. Your current site already presents the process in this kind of step-by-step way, and I think that is worth keeping because it is reassuring and clear.
If You’re Thinking About Counselling
Taking the first step can feel difficult, but it does not have to be complicated.
If you would like to explore whether counselling might be helpful,
you are very welcome to get in touch.
